Type 2 Diabetes can be dramatically improved with changes in diet, eating patterns (like intermittent fasting mentioned in the study referenced below), and exercise.
We can not rely solely upon medications to treat this serious problem without also making lifestyle changes.
Relying solely on medication is very costly both in terms of finances, but much more importantly in loss of a person’s ability to feel better and live longer.
Diabetes destroys every part of your body and leads to a shortened life often riddled with severe complications.
“The use of a therapeutic fasting regimen for treatment of type 2 diabetes is virtually unheard of,” write the authors.
“This present case series showed that 24-hour fasting regimens can significantly reverse or eliminate the need for diabetic medication,” they conclude.

Most people have no idea that they can really change the course of their disease on their own.
There is no substitute for a healthy lifestyle and we can not just rely on medications to correct the problems an unhealthy lifestyle causes.
The truth is that this means you can help yourself and that is empowering.
