Dr. Wilks, The Chiropractor That Took On The AMA and Won Passes Away.
Dr. Wilks was an integral part of the case against the American Medical Association originally filed in 1976. It concluded in 1993.
The case was started when an AMA insider leaked documents showing an aggressive, organized attack designed to eliminate the Chiropractic profession.
The case ultimately was settled in the US Supreme Court finding the AMA criminally sought to conspire and eliminate the perceived competition, Chiropractic, through massive campaigns to shape MDs and public perception of Chiropractic.

Unfortunately for many, the biases created here still exist today and the result harms the public by swaying people away from the incredibly safe and effective treatment of musculoskeletal pain and associated problems.
