Handheld electronic media use in babies and toddlers is definitely contributing to many developmental problems.
“For each 30-minute increase in handheld screen time, researchers found a 49% increased risk of expressive speech delay.”
This is an important warning to avoid giving babies and toddlers phones and tablets. It makes sense to either eliminate or severely restrict electronic media use in babies and toddlers.
