How To Wrap Presents Without Neck Pain and Back Pain.
If you’re like me, you still have some last minute gift wrapping to do!
This post can help you reduce neck pain and back pain, so you can better enjoy your holidays.
Consider these tips for a less painful wrapping experience!
- Avoid wrapping presents while sitting on the floor. This is the most likely position to cause problems for you, particularly if you have neck, back, or knee problems.
- Standing is a better option for most people. This can take a great deal of stress off your back. Be sure to pay attention to your neck position though as looking down for a prolonged period of time (like we often do while on a computer or phone) is known to cause a lot of stress on your neck. If you have any neck problem, this is likely to make it worse.
- It may be a little late for this idea, but wrapping presents as you get them rather than doing them all at once will certainly be a great idea.
- Use gift bags. I have to admit this is my go to when I have a gift I need to wrap up. I know… it’s not as pretty as a perfectly wrapped present but honestly, my presents will not fit into that category anyway!
- Take frequent breaks to move around and stretch.
